Our guest was Karabo Ozah, deputy director of the Centre for Child Law at the University of Pretoria, who has been on our show before. Child Protection Month is coming up, and she was talking about access to justice for children. Earlier this month, Karabo attended the Continental Conference on Access to Justice for Children in Africa held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, hosted by the African Child Policy Forum (ACPF) and Defence for Children International (DCI) where a call to action was adopted. The Centre for Child Law aims to use the conference report to enhance their work in protecting and promoting the rights of children, in particular access to justice for children, in SA and work towards a child-friendly justice system.
