Patrick’s expert guest was Francis Antonie the director of the Helen Suzman Foundation who spoke about the the Constitutional Court case being brought by the Helen Suzman Foundation and Hugh Glenister against the government and the Minster of Police. The applications are arguing that the legislation governing the Hawks does not sufficiently shield the unit from political interference.
