Venue: 1st Floor West Wing, Constitution Hill, 1 Kotze Street, Braamfontein Monday – Friday The mediation project aims to resolve the following disputes between parties:

• Maintenance
• Divorce regarding settlement agreements
• Care, Contact and primary residence of children

Mediation in family matters

ProBono.Org encourages clients to resolve matters through mediation rather than litigation wherever possible, especially in matters involving children – the Children’s Act promotes mediation because of the destructive effects of divorce on children. ProBono.Org draws on a team of voluntary mediators and the Family Mediation Forum, an electronic forum of pro bono mediators, attorneys and advocates. Mediation services are available as required as part of ProBono.Org’s daily work. ProBono.Org also organises mediation training for attorneys. [vc_separator color=”grey”]

Mediation in other matters

ProBono.Org uses Tokiso mediators to conduct pro bono mediations in matters of general law interest.
