April 20th 2018 saw the Durban office of ProBono.Org host its annual Appreciation Day Event. The occasion is aimed at thanking those attorneys who have given generously of their services on a pro bono basis, as well as showing our gratitude to some of the partners with whom we work. Several attendees received certificates for their outstanding pro bono work.
Mr Ravin Jankhi, The Story Teller MC, got into the spirit of the event and rendered his services on a pro bono basis. The event was an exciting one and saw the Judge President of the KZN High Courts, Judge Jappie, give a motivational keynote address. Our largest financial sponsor for this year’s event was LexisNexis.
The event was held at the Unite Building at Howard College, University of KwaZulu Natal and reminded many attendees of their beginnings along the legal pathway.
